Springville's council voted 5-0 in August to raise the general operations property tax, which the city said would bring in about $97,000. The final budget lists utility rate increases of 2% to 4.6% starting in November 2026 and relies on about $9 million in fees and transfers from city utilities.
Springville's proposed transportation fee: $4 in the budget, $8.50 recommended later, no rate adopted yet
Springville's fiscal 2027 budget describes a new transportation utility fee targeted at $4 a month per home. On Sept. 1, staff recommended $8.50, and council members split on the amount. The records reviewed show no fee ordinance adopted.
