All Wheels Park

Farmington is looking at hiring American Ramp Company to both design and build an All Wheels Park, a facility for skateboards, scooters, bikes and similar wheeled sports. The Oct. 20 agenda lists the agreement as a business item but gives no price, site, funding source or design. Under a design-build contract one company handles both jobs, so the contract itself would settle the cost and scope. The agenda does not show how the council voted, and the meeting's minutes will not be approved until the council's next meeting.
