Fielding at a glance

Box Elder County · Utah

Fielding’s own history recalls an agricultural settlement initially called South Plymouth before taking the Fielding name in 1894. The account follows early shops, farming parcels and successive school buildings, showing how education and everyday commerce developed alongside the farms of this Box Elder County community.

The town’s services page connects that local story with practical information about utilities, the volunteer fire department, town-hall use and the cemetery. It also directs building-permit inquiries to the county. Residents can use the town’s document collection for municipal business and its local-business resources for another view of community life. Fielding can post the agenda and a minutes or recording notice separately for the same meeting. Check the attachment type as well as the notice title: an audio file under a minutes heading is a recording, not a written transcript or approved minutes document.
