Rocky Ridge at a glance

Juab County · Utah

Rocky Ridge takes its name from a ridge of rounded black lava rock at the northern edge of Juab Valley. The town’s history connects the area with the former railroad settlement of York and describes a new residential community developing from farmland in the 1970s. Municipal incorporation followed in 1996.

The town’s photographs show its mountain setting, while municipal resources separately cover water, building, planning, forms and meeting records. The history also recounts the work of obtaining water and improving road access as the community grew. Residents can use that background to understand the town’s development, then consult current departmental information and dated council records for present requirements.
