Background
Paul Binns became Lehi's mayor after the 2025 election. In a Lehi Free Press interview with the mayor-elect, he described a career in insurance, starting in 2001 as an agent in Salt Lake, later serving as a district manager overseeing agency owners from Utah County to Millard County, and owning an insurance business in Lehi. He said he graduated from Murray High School, moved to Lehi in 2015, began attending City Council meetings in 2021, and that the mayor's race was his first run for elected office.
