Background

Mike Bennett is a Sanpete County commissioner with earlier experience in municipal government and county fair administration. A 2021 candidate profile reported that he began serving on the Sanpete County Fair Board in 2009 and had chaired it for six years. The same profile identified him as a member of the Mayfield Town Council. It also identified his employment at Azomite Minerals in Nephi.
