Background
Kristi Bell became Uintah's mayor on January 1, 2026, after earlier city-council service. Her city biography says she earned bachelor's degrees in political science and sociology at Utah State University and worked as a social worker for Utah's Division of Child and Family Services. It records her appointment to the Utah Drinking Water Board in 2018, subsequent vice-chair and chair service, and qualification as Uintah's first licensed cross-connection control administrator. Her community work also included leadership with the Bonneville Communities That Care board.
