Background
Kent Shelton is the West Jordan City Council's District 4 member, serving January 2024 to December 2027. His city biography lists an associate degree in visual art and design from Salt Lake Community College and a bachelor's degree in geography with a GIS certificate from the University of Utah. He is a commercial photographer, was president of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association in 2017, and has served on the city's Planning Commission and Design Review Committee.
