Public administration and local roots
Jenn Gale earned a Master of Public Administration at Brigham Young University after years of involvement in Orem. She chose that course of study because it matched the community work she was already doing and could expand her opportunities to serve. Originally from Southern California, she remained in Utah as her family developed a healthcare-technology research business and eventually made Orem their home. [1]

Orem council approved moving $3.68 million to capital projects after the fiscal 2025 reserve finding
The council adopted a February 2026 budget amendment, Ordinance O-2026-0004, that includes a $3,680,788.60 transfer from the general fund to the capital projects fund after an audit found the general fund over the state cap. The records reviewed do not show whether the money moved by June 30.
