Andy Hansen is Davis County’s assessor and was named Utah’s Outstanding Assessor of the Year by the Utah Association of Counties in 2026. In a September 2025 budget presentation, he proposed moving valuation-model development from an outside contractor to county data analysts over two years. His plan included more frequent model updates and continued validation, with the contractor eventually serving in a consulting role rather than building the models.
