Background

Andrea Allen has been the Utah County recorder since January 2021. The county says she has worked for Utah County in various roles for 41 years, including six years as assistant county recorder. Utah County says Allen was instrumental in scanning and digitizing county records, putting them online and adding fraud-protection technology. She was co-chair of PRIA-Local Utah in 2022 and 2023 and chairs the Utah Association of County Recorders' Standards Committee.
