Background
Alison H. McCoy is Tooele County’s auditor and has also served in regional public-sector governance. County council records from 2025 document her service on the Utah Local Governments Trust’s board of directors. In the Trust’s 2024 annual report, McCoy described applying process-mapping training to the county’s accounts-payable work. She said the team tested revised procedures with a smaller group before extending the changes across the organization.
