Background

Alan Lord is a Bluffdale City Council member with a professional background in commercial insurance and risk management. In an official 2024 redevelopment-agency meeting record, he disclosed handling a client’s business-liability, property and vehicle insurance. During the 2023 municipal campaign, Lord supported additional higher-density housing in areas already designated for that use. He also argued that the city should review spending priorities to increase full-time fire staffing and help residents locate existing housing-assistance resources.
