Marriott-Slaterville

Marriott-Slaterville's City Council voted 5-0 on Aug. 20, 2026 to approve a "Resolution amending Interlocal Agreement with Weber County for funding 1700 South/1200 West Road Project." [1]

According to the minutes, "Staff indicated that this Resolution provides the additional funding to the 1700 South / 1200 West road project. That project is currently underway." Council member Rob Smout moved to approve it and Will Holley seconded. All five members voted aye. [1]

The minutes do not give a resolution number, the added amount or a revised project budget. [1]

The county side

The Weber County Commission's agenda for Sept. 1, 2026 lists, as consent item F.11, the second amendment to a transportation funding agreement "by and between Weber County and Marriott-Slaterville City for the 1700 S. 1200 W. Project." The notice has no attached documents. [2]

Weber County posts a three-page copy of the second amendment, signed by the mayor and dated Aug. 24, 2026. It raises the total transportation funding available to the city by $1,450,000, to a maximum of $5,712,000, which is the original $3,198,000 plus $1,064,000 from the first amendment and the new $1,450,000. It raises the city's required local match by $161,006, so the total match is $421,006, which is the original $260,000 plus $161,006. The recitals say the Weber Area Council of Governments approved the added sales tax funds on June 1, 2026 and the county commissioners approved the allocation. [4]

The recitals also mention $1,961,406 in state grant matching funds the city committed under the first amendment, which is separate from the $421,006 the document defines as the local match. The county ceiling is not the whole project cost. In the posted copy the county's signature and date lines and the attestation are blank, so it shows the city's signature, not execution by both governments, any payment or a final cost. The Ledger found no county minutes for the Sept. 1 item in the archive it checked, which does not show that none exist. [4]

Impact fees tied to 1700 South

The city's impact fee report for the year ended June 30, 2025 lists all storm-water impact fees on hand as budgeted for a "1700 S Storm Water Project," with spending projected in 2026, and sewer impact fees for a "1700 S Sewer Project" in 2027. [3]

An agenda listing shows an item was scheduled, not that it was approved or signed.
