Provo City Center Temple

The old Provo Tabernacle, rebuilt as a temple inside its surviving walls after a 2010 fire and dedicated in 2016.

The Provo Tabernacle, a downtown meeting hall dedicated in 1898, burned on December 17, 2010. Firefighters held back from knocking down its exterior walls, and the church rebuilt the building as a temple, according to the church's historic-sites exhibit.

The Provo City Center Temple was dedicated in March 2016. It is separate from the Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple on Temple Hill Drive.

Visiting

The official page lists no visitors' center on site. The grounds are open to the public, according to the church. Once a temple is dedicated, attendance is reserved for church members taking part in its ordinances, so the interior is open to the public only during an open house.
