Beaver Mountain

A family-run ski area at the top of Logan Canyon, owned and operated by the same family since 1939, with cheap tickets, deep snow and an old-time lodge.

Snow report

Check the mountain’s own conditions page and operating updates before driving through Logan Canyon.

Snow readings and their last-updated time are on the operator’s site. Live snow totals are not currently displayed on this page.

How to read a snow report
24-hour / 48-hour snowfall
New snow over the stated reporting window. The 48-hour total includes the 24-hour window; don’t add them together.
Base depth
Snow on the ground at the resort’s reporting location, which can differ from conditions elsewhere on the mountain.
Season snowfall
Snow accumulated over the season’s reporting period, rather than the depth currently on the ground.
Forecast
A prediction of future snow, separate from measured snowfall. Snowfall alone does not establish which lifts or trails are open.

Use the source’s update date and time zone, especially around overnight storms. Off-season or stale reports may retain old readings. A missing or undated report does not mean no snow.

Report links checked (Utah, America/Denver). This is a link check, not the time of a snow observation.

Beaver Mountain, “the Beav” to locals, is often called the oldest continuously family-owned ski area in the country. The Seeholzer family still runs it, and it shows: prices are low, the lodge serves burgers and homemade fare, and there are no real estate villages anywhere in sight.

The mountain gets a lot of snow for its elevation and has a good mix of groomers, trees and short steep pitches. The drive up Logan Canyon is part of the experience, and Bear Lake and Garden City are just over the summit.

Maps and mountain orientation

Use the resort trail map to compare base areas, lifts and named runs before setting out. Then check the operator’s mountain report for the lifts and trails scheduled to operate on your visit.
