Mount Raymond
A rocky summit on the divide between Mill Creek and Big Cottonwood canyons.

Mount Raymond sits on the divide between Mill Creek and Big Cottonwood canyons. Forest Service mapping gives 10,241 feet. Gobblers Knob, nearby, is a separate summit.
The Utah Geological Survey's Mill Creek guide maps the Mount Raymond thrust fault. The peak is in Mount Olympus Wilderness, designated in 1984. Big Cottonwood Canyon is a drinking-water watershed with rules on dogs and swimming that differ from Mill Creek's. Visit Utah describes the Butler Fork route from Big Cottonwood as strenuous, about 7.8 miles round trip with roughly 3,100 feet of climbing, entering the wilderness 0.4 mile in and crossing the Walter F. Mueggler–Butler Fork research area, and it lists dogs as prohibited. Check the rules for the canyon you actually use.
