Revere Health began in 1969 when three internal medicine specialists established a clinic in Provo. Formerly known as Central Utah Medical Clinic, it developed into a physician-owned network offering primary care, specialty medicine and surgery services. Its history connects the current organization with a locally founded medical practice rather than a single hospital. [1] [2]

The network lists an administration office on North 500 West in Provo and operates clinics in multiple communities. Its business brings multiple specialties into one organization, with coordination between primary care and specialist services forming part of its stated approach. For Utah patients and employers, the company is a provider network whose local presence extends beyond its original Provo campus. [1] [2]

The Central Utah Clinic became Revere Health on July 8, 2015. In its rebranding FAQ, the organization said the change was not a buy-out and did not move it away from its independent-physician model, and that clinics keep their own names under the Revere Health brand. [3]
