Cyprus Credit Union traces its founding to 22 Utah Copper Company employees in 1928. The original cooperative let workers build savings and pool money for loans. Its history connects the organization to the copper industry around Bingham Canyon and the Arthur Plant near Magna. [1] [2]

Today Cyprus offers checking and savings accounts, consumer lending, home loans and business financial services. Its West Jordan presence forms part of a broader branch network, while online and mobile banking extend access beyond branch counters. The organization describes itself as member-owned and not-for-profit. [1] [2] [3]
