Caffe Ibis is a Logan coffee roaster, café and wholesale supplier whose roots reach back to Straw Ibis Market and Café. Its history says Randy Wirth and Sally Sears opened that business in 1976, with Caffe Ibis coffee developing in 1985 as they sought greater control over sourcing, roasting and freshness. [1] [2]

The company describes a later sale from Sears to longtime employee and CFO Lesa Wilson and identifies Tom Wilson as director of coffee and general manager. Its coffee catalog distinguishes products with different certifications, including organic, Fairtrade and Smithsonian Bird Friendly combinations. Those labels belong to the particular coffee, not automatically to everything sold under the Caffe Ibis name. [1] [2]
