Will Smith hosted a private screening of his latest film, Emancipation, in October for some of his friends, including Rihanna, Dave Chappelle, and Tyler Perry, to name a few.

The actor, 54, reveal the music superstar’s reaction to his movie after attending a private screening with some of his other star-studded friends in October while walk the red carpet for Emancipation earlier this week.
Smith told News, “Rihanna loved the cinematography.” “She could not get over how the film looked and felt.”
The Aladdin star said he got a good idea of what his other friends who attended the screening, added Dave Chappelle, Tyler Perry, A$AP Rocky, also Kenya Barris, thought of the film.
“The thing about Black people is that they lecture to the screen the entire time, so you don’t have to ask people’s opinions,” he joked to the outlet. “I did not have to ask anyone in the room for their opinion.”

Regarding to IMDB, Emancipation is set during the American Civil War.
Also, it follows a man named Peter, played by Smith, who getaways slavery and embarks on a quest for freedom from plantation owners who nearly kill him.
Smith’s first film since slapping Chris Rock onstage at the Oscars in March resulted in his resignation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts also Sciences and a 10-year ban from attending its ceremonies.
Smith apologised to Rock in a video posted to multiple social media platforms in July, saying he had been “out of line” also his “actions were not denotative of the man I want to be.”
“I reached out to Chris, and the message I got back was that he’s not ready to talk yet, but when he is, he will,” Smith said. “So, Chris, please accept my sincere apologies. My behaviour was unacceptable, and I’m available to speak with you whenever you’re ready.”
